Description

A goddess of the vanilla plant is worshipped in Mexico. Vanilla is a climbing vine bearing flowers having both male and female organs. Only in Mexico does a natural pollination of the vanilla plant occur; grown anywhere else, it must be han pollinated.
This vanilla is organically grown by a Totonucan indigenous grower association in Papantla, Mexico. Papantla is said to be the home of vanilla, the place where it was first domesticated by the Totonucans.

Vanilla's rich, warm and intriguing fragance appeals to both men and women. Its aromatic warmth may offer comfort and nurturance for feelings of tension, anger and frustration.

     Serving suggestion

     To use, split the bean open lengthwise, scrape out the thousands of tiny black seeds and add them to you recipes. if you have a spice grinder you can also cut the whole beans into small pieces and then grind them into a powder ready to add to your recipes.

You can also steep half a bean in boiling water to crate a delicious tea.

To preserve the aroma store the pods in a sealed container in the fridge.
