Raw Organic Dehydrated Botija Olives from Peru. Tree ripened to perfection, hand picked, cured in sea salt and pure Peruvian spring water and then dehydrated at low temperatures
These raw organic dehydrated Black and Red Botija Olives are grown about 100 kilometers south of Lima, Peru on a permaculture farm established by Jose Vico and his family in a desert valley. They are tree ripened to perfection, hand picked, c ured in sea salt and pure Peruvian spring water and then dehydrated at low temperatures, maintaining intact all the natural oil and juice of the olive. They have a deliciously subtle juicy olive flavour without any bitterness. They are totally unique and you need to try them for yourself. When Jose's wire Margit was asked why their olives are so special, she said there is of course Jose's amazing compost and special organic sprays but above all else it is the love that Jose puts into every one of the trees.
Snack on them right from the package, or remove the pits, chop them up and add them to a salad.
